Hearts of STEM was a series of public arts-technology events held at Ulster University (Derry and Belfast campuses) between 2016 and 2019.
The series was founded by Dr Brian Bridges (Music and Creative Technologies), our late colleague Prof. Paul Mc Kevitt (Computing), and Dr Lisa Fitzpatrick (Drama).
Offshoots of this series include our hosting of the Irish Sound, Science and Technology Association conference and festival (ISSTA 2016 and ISSTA 2018) and the founding of Oscillations and Modulations, a festival of electronic music tools and technologies.
